Doctors: Maternal Healthcare Never Requires Abortion

I received this email from Personhood USA and frankly, it's too good not to share!

Maternal Healthcare Never Requires Abortion!

Today, we want to share with you our new video that debunks the myth about maternal health and the need for abortion!

The radical left often advocates that a ban on abortion would prevent women from receiving proper medical help when they are in life-threatening situations. This couldn't be further from the truth! Scientific evidence from around the world has proven that abortions are not medically necessary to save the life of the mother!

This dispels the lie that the life of the mother and the life the child are at odds with each other, and we must choose one over the other to make a sound medical decision.

We can have a ban on abortion, while also upholding the medical health of the mother!

Watch our new video - "Doctors: maternal healthcare never requires abortion."

We are working hard in many states like North Dakota, Colorado, Mississippi, and Iowa to pass personhood legislation that upholds the rights of the unborn at the moment of conception.
Personhood amendments are no-compromise efforts to end 100% of abortions. Personhood affirms what scientists and physicians have been saying - abortion is never medically necessary!

Keep fighting the good fight and know that the truth is on our side! With supporters like you, I am confident we will see the end to abortion in this country.

For Life,

Would you expect a country that prohibits all abortion to have a higher or lower standard of maternal healthcare?

Medical experts in maternal healthcare testified before the United Nations Commission on the Status of Women (CSW) that direct abortion is NOT necessary to save the life of the mother in any circumstance. Findings from Ireland and Chile indicate that prohibiting abortion is consistent with providing high quality medical care to pregnant mothers. Abortion is not the answer to maternal mortality.
